LCD vs Hard OLED vs Soft OLED, Explained

​LCD Display - This is the most affordable of the three display technologies available, and what the iPhone 11 & XR ship with. LCD displays offer less contrast and color depth than OLED displays.

Hard OLED - An excellent budget option that offers most of the benefits of OLED displays, but may fall short of the color accuracy and durability seen when using a more expensive Soft OLED display.

Soft OLED - Offers the highest image quality and best durability of the three display technologies available, this is the same type of display that the iPhone X and most recent iPhone models ship with.

Tempered Glass Screen Protectors are available for most iPhone models at an additional fee that includes installation, at the time of any existing repair. The cost is $10 for the iPhone 8+ and older, or $20 for the iPhone 11 Pro and newer.

Glass screen protectors are not a substitute for a protective case, and do not carry any guarantee against screen breakage if you physically damage your device. Due to limited capacity, appointments are not available for the sole purpose of installing a screen protector.

Lasers are cool, and a common tool used by many repair shops to reduce the tedium of back glass repairs by burning away the cement like glue used to adhere back glass to the frame, but they can leave the inside of your device filthy, smelling like a bonfire, and damage sensitive internal components. We perform back glass repair by hand using nothing but heat to provide the highest quality repair.
Please note that due to Apple's attempts to shut out competition by more affordable independent repair providers, battery health metrics may not show correctly after a battery replacement on the iPhone XR or newer, however we'd be happy to discuss workarounds with you, and on request can even bypass this issue for an additional fee.

Liquid Damage - Help Us Help You!

In the event that liquid spills on or into your iPhone, turn it off immediately, and do not attempt to charge it or power it on until a repair professional has serviced it.

Liquid damage is time sensitive, the sooner you get your device in for service, the better your chances are of an affordable recovery. Powering on or charging a liquid damaged device is the number one cause of severe damage. Even after several days or weeks, standing liquid can remain in your device if it is not properly opened and cleaned, and wreak havoc when it's powered on. Please do not place your device in rice. This is a meritless internet myth that has absolutely no chance of helping your liquid damaged device, instead it frequently damages charge ports and delays getting proper help. Your best chance for recovery is to bring your device in while it's still wet. Attempting to dry it out with a fan or heater while the battery is still installed only has the potential to concentrate conductive ions in the liquid, worsening damage. Just because your device appears to continue to work after liquid damage, does not mean you should continue using it. This can and will make an easily addressable situation much much worse, and much more expensive to repair.
Proper liquid damage recovery involves fully disassembling the device and placing components into a pure alcohol bath that displaces other foreign liquids, after which the device can be dried out without depositing contaminates onto the sensitive internal components. Damaged parts are then replaced, and liquid damage to the logic board treated with in-house microsoldering services, which you can learn more about here. Liquid damage repairs are offered on a no fix/data no fee basis with free no obligation quotes. Some devices with extensive damage are not practical to repair for daily use again, but may still be eligible for data recovery services. Most liquid damaged devices receive quotes in the $75-250 range, but some quotes may come in above or below this range depending on the extent of damage and cost of replacement parts.
